Nis - Photo Album 3 (the evening)

1. Bombed out remains of the Yugoslav Army HQ building in downtown Nis; 2. And some of the "collateral damage" which the surrounding civilan objects suffered, including the cafe ("Kafana" - see the blue arrow), and apartment buildings behind it.

3. The City Choir performing at the Nis Peoples Theater on Sept. 13; 4. ...followed by an impromptu choral tribute to the TiM editor, at the Nis City Hall reception, hosted by the Djurdjevic's, in gratitude for the great hospitality of the people of Nis. The conductor, Milena Injec, is in the forefront of this photo.

5. The TiM editor in front of the Yugoslav Army HQ in Nis; 6. And delivering his speech at the Nis Peoples Theater later the same evening; 7. And greeting his guests at the City Hall reception, while presenting a modest donation for use by the Nis Hospital's ward for newborn babies.
