Stupidity on the Rise in U.S.? Or Just Government/Media Betrayal?

... Yet Obama and Clinton "most admired Americans" (per CBS/USA Today)

HAIKU, Maui, Dec 31 - Flooded out residents of Queensland, Australia, are not the only unfortunate people for whom we need to pray at this time.  Millions of Americans are also struggling as a result of another unnatural disaster - an unholy collusion between our government and big business.   More than 15 million of us are currently unemployed, the highest number in recorded history.

The worst part?  It is a man-made disaster, driven by two evil forces - greed and treason.  Greed - because Wall Street money-driven culture has induced the world's largest employers to shirk their social responsibilities in favor of bottom line enlargement.  Treason - because our government "of the people, by the people and for the people" has betrayed the people and become the government of Big Business (Wall Street), for Big Business (Wall Street) and by Big Business (Wall Street). 

Nor is this just a temporary condition brought about by sub-prime and real estate market crash in 2008.  These two enemies of the American people deployed two strategies over the last 20 years which resulted in millions of highly qualified, hard-working Americans being thrown out to the street: (1) Illegal immigration at home; (2) Outsourcing of skilled jobs overseas.

And now, sit down and be prepared to be shocked by this "60 Minutes" program on the same topic that aired on Oct 24 (I received this email on Dec 24 from a friend in California):

Furthermore, our "lamestream" media and the government are telling us that the inflation has been licked. We are supposed to believe that it is only 1.1% at the moment.  Really?  When I moved to Maui in March 2009, the gasoline price was $2.63 per gallon.  Yesterday, it was $3.98 per gallon (right photo).  That's a 51% jump alone in something as essential as energy cost which permeates most other economic activities.  So what kind of morons does the government takes us for?

So unemployment is strike one against the people.  Rising prices is strike two.  And then we also have strike three - grieving families of thousands of Americans who have been killed or wounded in various New World Order wars waged around the world, and you can see that there is much to pray for at home, too.

In light of that, the most shocking news I saw during this holiday season was a CBS report on Dec 28 that said that Obama and (Hillary) Clinton were "the most admired Americans," according to a USA Today/Gallup poll... (left).

Really?  It looked like a page right out of the old Soviet and Red Chinese media.  Brezhnev, Khrushchev, Mao and other communist butchers were also portrayed as "the most admired" leaders of the unfortunate people who had to suffer and toil in silence under them.  Which is why I fired off the following response to the CBS story at their web site:
