1. Albright, Artemije Jeered by Serbs, Cheered by Albanians; Media Report Only the Latter Story

PRISTINA, July 29 - Now you see it now you don’t. One moment Madeleine Albright and the "naïve" Serb Bishop Artemije are jeered by a group of angry Serbs; a few hours later, that story is pulled, and another one substituted showing Albright being cheered by Albanians in Pristina. Same day (July 29), same Halfbright, two different messages for the not-so-bright among the western readers.

It was Albright’s first visit to Kosovo after the end of "Madeleine’s War," as the Times magazine termed it (see S99-81, Day 55, Item 2, May 17). And it provided an excellent opportunity for all people with "eyes wide shut" to see how the western media manipulate the truth.

When we checked the wires at 2:59PM EDT, the ClariNet Daily News, hosted on the IBM Net’s home page, led with a top (UPI) story whose headline was, "Albright Jeered by Angry Serbs." Five hours later (at 8:05PM EDT), the top (AP) story by same wire news was titled, "Albright Cheered by Albanians." The story about the jeering Serbs was no longer to be found anywhere within the index of ClariNet’s daily news for July 29. The TiM editor now has the printout of both IBM/ClariNet indexes for "Thursday, July 29 - Top Stories" to prove it.

Beyond such blatant manipulation, Albright’s visit to Kosovo provided another opportunity to point out some more subtle ways of western news manipulations and brainwashing. Here is an excerpt from the first UPI story:

"Angry Serbian extremists, chanting the name of Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, jeered U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, before storming the gates of an ancient monastery (Gracanica) and cursing their own church officials. British paratroopers ran to protect Orthodox priests, whose black robes ballooned in the air as they fled through the gates of an ancient nunnery and onto a second floor balcony.

Several dozen British soldiers held the mob of Milosevic supporters at bay as they demanded that Kosovo’s Bishop Artemije and several of his fellow priests come down to receive a ‘proper beating.’

Only minutes earlier, the Serbian Orthodox Church leader met with Albright to press their own security concerns… Fewer than 50,000 remain of Kosovo’s pre-war Serb population of 200,000.

Many hardcore Milosevic supporters are bitter at Orthodox Church officials both for denouncing Milosevic and meeting with Albright, ‘the imperialist enemy’."

That was the gist of the UPI story. Now let’s try to delouse the media doublespeak lice.

First, have you noticed that patriots are always characterized as "extremists" by the establishment media? So were the Serb patriots in the above opening sentence. Second, they are typically associated with some undesirable figure or a country - Milosevic in this case. Third, are always depicted as unreasonably violent, thus the term "mob" to describe their unruly behavior.

Fortunately for the lovers of truth and liberty, the UPI story was also accompanied with a photo. Take at look at some these "extremists," "Milosevic supporters," the "mob" which wanted to beat up their own bishop and priests for collaborating with the enemy. First, none of them are armed. Second, they range in age from about 5 to about 75. Third, none of them had any pro-Milosevic posters which the typical "party" members carry during rallies or protests. Fourth, several of them are waiving the Serbian three-finger salute, symbolizing the Holy Trinity.

And that’s what the supporters of the Serb communist traitor who abandoned them and Kosovo to world class terrorists would do? Only the readers with their "eyes wide shut" might fall for such incongruities. Especially as a morsel of truth had slipped the watchful eyes of the NWO media editorial censors - the fact that fewer than 25% of the pre-war Serbian population remain after six weeks of NATO’s "peace."

So let us try to rewrite the above excerpt from the UPI story which may be closer to the truth of what happened at Gracanica on July 29:

"Angry Kosovo Serbs, abandoned to the Albanian and international terrorists by the Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, jeered U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, before storming the gates of an ancient monastery (Gracanica) and cursing their own church officials. British paratroopers ran to protect Orthodox priests, whose black robes ballooned in the air as they fled through the gates of an ancient nunnery and onto a second floor balcony.

Several dozen British soldiers held the angry Serb protesters at bay as they demanded that Kosovo’s Bishop Artemije and several of his fellow priests come down to receive a ‘proper beating.’

Only minutes earlier, the Serbian Orthodox Church leader met with Albright to press their own security concerns… Fewer than 50,000 remain of Kosovo’s pre-war Serb population of 200,000.

Many Kosovo Serbs are bitter at some local Orthodox Church officials meeting with Albright, ‘the imperialist enemy,’ as well as with the KLA murderers, such as Hashim Thaci. 2. Thugs of the (NATO) World Unite (Again) to Plan Phase II of "Perpetual Commerce Through Perpetual War" Strategy

SARAJEVO, July 30 - Top thugs of the NATO world united again yesterday in Sarajevo to plot the Phase II two of their "Perpetual Commerce Through Perpetual War" strategy. This time, the topic was the rebuilding of their latest Balkans conquest - Kosovo - which the NATO bombers had been destroying during the Phase I, the 11-week air war. Led by Bill Clinton, the NATO unindicted war criminals pledged billions of taxpayers dollars in reconstruction aid for all but "Milosevic’s Serbia" - to the silent applause of invisible spectators at the newly rebuilt Sarajevo Olympic stadium (with western taxpayers money, of course), where the meeting was held.

Who were the invisible spectators cheering the latest assault on our wallets? The NATO war criminals’ bosses - the "death merchants" and other NWO corporate leaches, sponging off the western taxpayers and human misery caused by their "perpetual wars for perpetual commerce."

By doing so, the NATO leaders and their NWO "godfathers" followed to a tee a scenario which we outlined at the start of NATO’s war on Serbia. Here’s an excerpt from the article, "Two Parallel Wars: Orwell Would Have a Blast Today" (A Commentary), published on Apr. 3 (see S99-25, Day 11, Update 2, Item 1, Apr. 3):

"George Orwell would be having a blast. The NWO version of the Big Brother has outdone even the grim predictions about the global tyranny, outlined in his masterpiece, ‘1984.’ Which is understandable. There was no TV back in 1948, when he wrote the book.

The techniques, however are the same. Remember the Big Brother's slogans?

‘War is peace’

‘Freedom is slavery’

‘Ignorance is strength’

We are living them now. Orwell was off by 15 years. Consider today's NWO reality:

‘Naked aggression’ is ‘humanitarian mission’

‘Killing’ innocent people is ‘saving live.’

‘Peacekeepers’ are ‘warmongers’

‘Free press’ is ‘war propaganda’

Plus, we've already said many times before that the true motto of the New World Order is: ‘Perpetual commerce through perpetual war,’ NOT its NWO mantra: ‘World peace through world trade.’ For, first you knock them down, then you rebuild them.

In Jan/98, the Economist magazine reported that Bosnia was the No. 1 country in the world in terms of its GDP growth. Albania was second. We suspect that most Americans would be shocked to find that out. (see Djurdjevic's Reform Party Speech - available at our Web site).

Any American still unconvinced that the Kosovo war had been planned, financed and launched by the NWO ‘Bilderbergers et. al.’ should ask the question: Why had the gasoline prices started to rise across America several weeks BEFORE the bombing started - despite vast surpluses in supplies?

Answer: To help finance the NWO's war on Serbia. Oil companies are the ‘death merchants’ bosom-buddies. Since NATO is running low on fuel, it has requested additional supplies, which the Pentagon is now procuring from the oil companies. Just as it had requested that some of its depleted missiles, arms and weapons be restocked. At the taxpayers' expense, of course (also more than a month BEFORE the war started, as we have subsequently reported - see "Death Merchants'" View: "War Is Great; Peace Sucks; Long Live NATO!," S99-83, Day 57, Item 1, May 19).

The ‘humanitarian crisis’ caused by NATO's bombing is another great business bonanza. Food companies get to sell off old food inventories which no American would have bought. Medical suppliers get rid of obsolete stocks. Transportation companies fly all supplies in. Again, all at the taxpayers expense, paid by Uncle Sam, of course.

Gosh, the ‘civilized world’ can't stand by at a time of such a ‘humanitarian catastrophe’. Yet the "civilized world’ has so far managed to stay quite aloof while funding the killing of innocent civilians with ‘civilized’ killing machines.

All that's missing so far, is a Jane Fonda-show to entertain the troops. But that's probably the Phase Four of the NATO plan, followed by a Phase Five Stephen Spoofberg film.

Isn't war a great business? Especially considering the bottomless money pit used for funding it - the taxpayers' bank accounts. Beats having to sell for a living. Especially if someone else does the killing for you, as the U.S. military is now doing it for the Big Brother."

3. How Serb Dummies Fooled NATO Dummies (Part II);"M-18" - the Serb "Trojan Horse"

BELGRADE, July 29 - In our TiM GW Bulletin S99-112, "Peace" 6, Items 1 and 2, June 21, we debunked NATO’s bunk about zero combat losses during its 79-week war with Serbia. Three days later, as we also showed you HOW the low-tech Serb ingenuity reduced the high-tech NATO might to a laughing stock of the military world (see "Serb Dummies Fool NATO Dummies," S99-114, "Peace" 8, Items 1 and 2, June 24).

According to the western reports at the time (e.g., the London Times, June 24), the Serb military deployed various decoys and camouflage techniques supposedly learned from the Soviets. But a recent article by a Serb engineer, Mato Siladic in the Yugoslav "Aeromagazine," a magazine published by and for the flying enthusiasts and aeronautical modelers, revealed additional details of how the Serb civilians, not the Yugoslav Air Force, came with the idea which preserved the Serb military’s most valuable flying assets - the MiG 29s. And how these Serb patriots built them while NATO bombs were raining all around them.

You can check out at our Web site a special album of photographs by Djordje Ivanov, which illustrate the various phases of construction and deployment of the MiG-29 decoys, which the Serb aeronautical enthusiasts jokingly dubbed the "M-18" - http://www.truthinmedia.org/Kosovo/War/PhotoAlbum/photos-war-10.html.

But the proof is in the pudding, as they say. The ultimate success of this enterprising Serb civilian contribution to their country’s defense had to be proven in combat. And it was. About 90% of all the decoys built by the "M-18" team were destroyed by NATO’s bombs.

"Under normal circumstances, every designer-modeler would have loved to nurture and protect his babies," said Radoje Glagojevic, one of the "M-18" designers. "(But in this case), we wanted the NATO aggressors to destroy as many of them as possible." Blagojevic is a modeler from Nova Pazova, a small town about 20 miles northwest of Belgrade, close to the Batajnica military airport, which was practically a nightly target of NATO bombs during its 11-week air campaign.

Here are some excerpts from the article "Aeromagazine," in our translation from Serbian:

"It is widely known that… the most advanced aircraft of the Yugoslav Air Force are the MiG-29 fighters which were procured 12 years ago. It is also no secret, and the NATO planners in Brussels knew it very well, that we bought only one squadron of MiG-29s - 14 one-seaters, and two two-seaters. At the time of the NATO alliance’s aggression on our country, these MiGs were our only aircraft which could have realistically confronted the most advanced attacking airplanes.

But considering that even on the first night, the NATO aggressors engaged 400-450 fighter aircraft vs. a dozen or so Yugoslav MiGs, the realistic advantage was about 30-to-1 in favor of the enemy. As the air campaign continued, with every passing day such a ratio was becoming less favorable for us. […]

So given such an imbalance in air power, we were forced to create our own ‘Trojan Horse'…

Djordje Ivanov, a pilot, painter and cartoonist, was actually the first to come up with the idea of building MiG-29 decoys. ‘We had to find a way to preserve our aircraft,’ he says. ‘Our solution was - moving constantly both the decoys and the real airplanes, so that the decoys become true shadows of real aircraft. We made the decoys ‘come to life’ mechanically and electronically. We imitated the its engines; we artificially created smoke from burning kerosene in ‘smoke boxes;’ the metal skin created an appropriate radar image… Our team was named ‘M-18,’ as the(alphabetical) follow-on to the L-18 designation which the Yugoslav MiG-29s have’."

Eventually, members of the ‘Nova Pazova’ aeronautical modeling club, such as Blagojevic, pitched in with their own ideas and ‘labor of love’ to try to help their country’s war effort. Their ultimate gratification came on June 12. That’s when 11 Yugoslav MiG-29s sprouted their wings and took off from Pristina’s Slatina airport, to the utter shock and amazement of the NATO brass and the western media. Here’s how Col. David Hackworth put it in his June 15 nationally syndicated column (see S99-111, "Peace" 5, Item 5, June 18):

"After all those bombs and missiles and all of NATO's glowing reports about battle damage inflicted on the non-white-flag-waving Serbian Army, 11 MiG fighters rose from an air base in Kosovo on the day the peace deal was final. They wagged their perfect, unruffled wings and headed north. After such a pummeling, how could 11 jet fighters, almost more than Great Britain used in the war, remain unscathed?

Eventually, the analysts will tell us the final score."

Well, now we know not only the score, but even how this feat was achieved. A bunch of Serb MiG-29 dummies fooled a bunch of NATO brass dummies with an "M-18" Serb "Trojan Horse," created by a pilot-painter and cartoonist, and a bunch of Nova Pazova aeronautical enthusiasts and modelers. Homo Sapiens wins. Technology loses. A great victory for human spirit; a sad day for the "death merchants."
